Love the fried bayou po boy with sweet potato fries! Red beans and rice is also good. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend!

Meant to post about this a while ago.Food was subpar. Service was terrible. My wife and I came here for something different, I ordered the gumbo and she ordered the French dip. Neither were very good. The gumbo had a consistency of gravy, and was mostly flavorless. The French dip made my wife feel ill, and while this could have simply been her not feeling well in general I had a bite and didn't like it either so we threw it away.Nobody was in the restaurant, but it took a very long time for anyone to check on us or to get the bill. We could hear the staff laughing and cussing im the back, but couldn't get a hold of them so that we could leave.Second-worst dining experience I've had in Bozeman right after La Compania (where Pizza Compania currently is).Edit: to clarify, Pizza Compania is fine (if overpriced imo). La Compania no longer exists (thank goodness, it was a 0/5).

The food here is some of the best, most delicious, heart warming comfort food I have ever tasted! I grew up in Bozeman, but moved out of state about eight years ago, so whenever I visit I always make an effort to visit Cafe Zydeco. Never disappoints!

If you're from a place that has real Cajun food, this place is comfortable and delightful. It's most definitely not good for you, but it is awesome.

Amazing food. Place does a lot of take out so the dining area was pretty empty. We sat in front of a fire place on a chilly night. Personally I haven’t had much cajun food, but the food was seasoned perfectly. Also all the food is cooked fresh as they were able to remove sausage from my dish. If we return to the area, we’ll definitely be back!

Great Cajun restaurant! You won't find better in a 500 mile radius. For lunch grab a po' boy. Dinner Pasta Zydeco. Sundays don't miss the Beignet! A must visit in Bozeman!

I have found my new go-to place when in Bozeman! I had the seafood gumbo and was very happy with it. While it's not very objective to rate a business based on one interaction, I'm going to risk it based on this one meal. The rest of the menu looks very appetizing, too. Thank you for the wonderful lunch!

First time here but craving a good po-boy. OMG--messy piece of heaven. Everything was so delicious. Bread was soft, shrimp cooked to perfection, lettuce crisp. The staff was very warm and friendly as well.We will definitely be coming here regularly!

After reading all the positive reviews, we had pretty high expectations for our lunch here. There was a super sweet lady who took our order... She was a doll. Prices were extremely reasonable... Everything was nice & clean. BUT, the food was “just okay”, in our opinion. I had the Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and the Hubby had a Reuben Sandwich. Maybe it’s us, because from looking at the reviews of others, the food is usually raved about, but we thought it was very mediocre, at best.

If you crave some good NOLA food, this is where you get it in Montana. Great for kids. Chill atmosphere. A dozen different Louisiana hot sauces to throw on Po' Boys, lobster rolls, gumbo.

Way to nice of a building that has a very nice bar. Not to use it. No waiters or waitresses. Food is ok but needs more spice. It's ashamed to have this building that has a lot more potential. They just need a small place to make a to go out of it...the way its ran now...

Fantastic authentic cajun food!

This place is by far and away the BEST Cajun food I've ever eaten. The atmosphere is fun and funky and the food is to die for. We haven't had anything on the menu we didn't like. There's something for everyone, even my picky kids LOVE Cafe Zydeco! Spicy food isn't my favorite - but their "swamp sauce" is the perfect blend of spices. This is it guys, don't miss it. It's INCREDIBLE!

The Cajun menu provides a lot of variety. I started to order the large jambalaya but my friend advised me to go with the small. Good thing. The serving was more than adequate. And, quite authentic. This really is a very good place to eat at a very reasonable price.

We had been craving oysters since we had moved back to the area, there was a great oyster place in downtown Bozeman but it had closed. We got the oyster basket and we were not impressed the oysters were not firm but mushy, like they were frozen, then fried. The batter was goo though, but our search continues for good oysters in Bozeman.

Crazy amazing Cajun food for middle of nowhere Montana. The bread pudding is to die for and the jambalaya and the red beans and rice are also really good. I would highly recommend

Used to love the place, but one or two members of the wait staff are pretty rude anymore, attitudes are poor, showing up seems to be the same as insulting their mothers or something or their worried about covid bad enough to not be welcoming or both I cant make up my mind, I never thought I'd say this about Zydeco, but for the first time after nearing 2 decades of going to them, its hard to enjoy being there.

This place is amazing! They've got gluten free bread in consideration for those of us who can't handle the gluten, the prices are reasonable, everything is fresh and delicious, the staff are great and the place is super unique. I love it so much!

Love love love Cajun food. One of my complaints is the difficulty of finding GOOD Cajun outside of Louisiana. Eating at Cafe Zydeco is like stumbling into a New Orleans eatery. I always get their Blackened Tuna (the remoulade...oh baby). I might be walking in, but I'm always waddling out, stuffed to the gills.

If gumbo is on a menu, I order it. Cafe Zydeco has, Hands Down, the greatest gumbo the world has ever know. It left me light headed and dizzy... The gumbo was do delicious that I forgot to breath! My friends and family who love gumbo also agree that Cafe Zydeco's is the best.I wish there was a location on the West-end.
